Description: Perhaps one of the most famous and knocked-off designs by Bosse for the Bosse-Baller partnership. We have seen examples made in Germany, Russia, Mexico, and Israel. This has recently gone back into production in Austria, but this is an original vintage example dating to the 1950s. As much research as we have done on this design it is still unclear to us what it was actually designed to do, other than please the eye and feel great in your hand. We have found them great for holding rings and other jewelry on a dresser or nightstand. We were recently surprised to see vintage examples selling for $550 a piece. Signed “Austria Baller” on the bottom.
