Description:  A gorgeous heavy blue glass vase designed by Tapio Wirkkala for Iittala.  The bottom is engraved “Tapio Wirkkala – 3581” and the vase retains its original Iittala label on the top, as can be seen in the photograph.  Wirkkala's glass vases can be found in many important public museum collections including the Museum of Modern Art, the Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Philadelphia Museum of Art to name a few.
