Description: This nutcracker is clearly styled after a Carl Auböck design and most likely made by a machinist here in the United States as a project for the home.  This is very heavy for its size and extremely well made, with a nice style flourish with the tapering handle.  A unique piece worthy of any machine age, deco or modernist collection.  Would also compliment any Auböck collection.
