Description: Carl Frederick Christiansen was a Danish silversmith active in Copenhagen between 1943 and 1963 who produced elegant modern sterling silver and silver-plated wares such as candlesticks, tea and coffee services and cocktail accessories. He often incorporated rosewood into these designs. Not much information about him available, but he is listed as a Danish silversmith active between 1943 and 1963 in most reference materials. This set of martini and cocktail stirrers are inventive in that they have implements to both stir and remove olives or other solid ingredients from cocktails. The gracefully tapered rosewood handles are secured with brass pins. These are fully hallmarked as shown. We have only see a few other examples of this outstanding design. We currently have two sets available for sale.
