Description: Here are a pair of stainless bowls with coin bottom inserts. The coins were produced to celebrate the 1836 coronation of Empress Maria Anna Augusta and Emperor Ferdinand Augusta of Bohemia. These bowls were mass produced and we have seen them in varying sizes and produced in Italy, Germany and Austria. The design is a well documented Auböck design for a small brass bowl with a brass commemorative coin inserted for the bottom.
