Description: Here is very well documented and popular Carl Auböck bottle opener fashioned from an oversized brass coin. This item is found in both Archives books in multiple places.  It looks like it might have been used a couple of times and then left in a drawer.  Nice mellow patina to the brass and signed with the "Made in Austria" mark on the edge, as was customary on some of the earlier items from the workshop.  We have a second identical, but unmarked example in rougher shape available for $150 and can provide photos if you are interested.
