Description: These were made in three sizes; 6”, 10” and 14” in diameter. This example is the medium size. Another iconic design by Richard Meier for Swid Powell, which can be found in many important museum collections including the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York. You are unlikely to find another in this mint and unused condition. Possibly received as a gift and displayed for a short period until we purchased it. It also bears the earlier more complete Swid Powell marks as shown. Later examples of this popular bowl seemed to have only the Meier initials and Swid Powell marks.
