Description: Another iconic design by Richard Meier for Swid Powell that can be found in many important museum collections including the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York and Indianapolis Museum of Art. These were made in three sizes, 6", 10" and 14” in diameter. This example is the smallest size. Despite being very popular and it seems many were made, they still seem to command high prices in the marketplace; check 1stdibs. These were not inexpensive when introduced in 1984, as the price of the large bowl was $350.
