Description:  This is a whimsical, but highly functional letter opener and ruler fashioned in the style of a tape measurer by the famed Hermes.  Signed on back Hermes Paris and with the hallmark of Ravinet d’Enfant impressed below.  This was manufactured by the well known Paris silversmith firm of Ravinent d’Enfert in Paris, France. This firm has a long rich history of many generations of the finest silver making in Europe.
