Description: Here is a very fine Carl Auböck hand turned wood mustard pot made from Turkish Walnut most likely in the 1960s based on the reference materials we have seen. This is pictured in the Auböck archive book referenced above. Based on the photo in the book it appeared to be sold with a horn spoon for serving, which did not survive with the bowl. The wood grain is rich and gorgeous and this bowl is very finely crafted. It is signed with the correct impressed Auböck mark on the bottom as pictured, but is hard to see due to the wood grain.
