Description: This is a very early example of the largest of the leaf ashtrays designed and produced by Auböck. This important design appears in most of the Auböck notebooks and catalogs dating back to 1937. This example appears to date from the late 1930s when these first went into production. Unusually marked on the top of the stem of the leaf Made in Austria, which we believe indicates a very early production date. The patination and wear indicate appropriate age dating to the 1930s.
