Description: Yet another classic piece of Auböck design which is getting harder to find. This rarity has a full color photo in the Kois book on page 87. Impressed with the correct Auböck signature under the lid in the aluminum chassis of the tin. Makes a great box for storing coins, jewelry or other smalls. An example sold at the 2016 Wright auction almost doubling its high estimate.
Condition: Very good to good. The pigskin shows wear and some stains from regular handling and use. The inner aluminum liner has a small dent in the body and its edge shows some wear.
