Description: This a solid brass and heavy bottle opener that uses the famous Auböck hand paperweight as the holder for the opener. It is marked with the early and correct impressed Made in Austria mark on the spine. Vintage examples like this one with the mellow patina are getting harder to find and are escalating in price. In June 2020 an example sold at a 20th Century Design sale at Christies auction house for $1,125.
