Description: This elegant ashtray was produced with either a leather or rattan (cane) base. This example is in remarkably nice condition and does not appear to have been used too much. The leather is still supple for its age and shows a few stains and marks. The polish to the brass is also still very good with age-related toning shown in the photos. This example retains the correct impressed Auböck and Made in Austria marks. This would be an important addition for any serious Auböck collection.
