Description: A rare and important and design by Richard Meier for Swid Powell in Sterling Silver. These Meier designed baby cups were almost exclusively made in silver-plate. Swid Powell rarely had any objects manufactured in sterling silver, making this a very scarce object from the Swid Powell oeuvre. It weights 85 grams or 3 ounces of sterling silver. An example of this cup can be found in the Yale University Art Gallery permanent collection. We have only seen two others in sterling silver and neither were in this fine a condition.
