Condition: Very Good. No monogram. The very end tip on the underside has a very slight dent that can be barely seen in the second photo.

Description:  Here is a very hard to find Hermes silver letter opener from their famous equestrian themed works, but this with a spur at the end of the handle. We have only seen one other of this design. Signed on back Hermes Paris with the silversmith Ravinet d’Enfert hallmark impressed below and then Made in France. This opener was manufactured by the well known firm of Ravinent d’Enfert in Paris, France. This firm has a long, rich history of many generations of the finest silver makers in Europe.
