Description: Here is another important design for Swid Powell by the Haussmann’s. This frame accompanied a peppermill and baby cup they designed in this “Ears” form, as well as a pair of salt and pepper shakers that do not have the “ears” but are part of this set. Marked on the back Swid Powell, Made in Argentina with the Haussmann’s monogram. An example is in the collection of the Yale University Art Gallery. These are very hard to find and we have only seen a few ever come into the marketplace, two of which we bought. Both were Mint NOS in the box, however this one is missing its original felt tote bag. We previously sold that example.
