Description:  This is a rarely found design by Palterer for Cleto Munaro as part of Munari’s silver and glass productions.  We have never seen another, and other Palterer designs for Munari command very high prices, if they can even be found.  This is marked with the impressed Cleto Munari and Italy stamps and Palterer’s signature.  We conferred with with the Cleto Munari firm and were advised that this is a pencil holder. We have seen Palterer’s magnifying glass which uses the same silver ring that holds this glass with the magnifier that inserts into the top.
