Description: Here is the harder-to-find concave square lidded container, box or humidor designed by Jens Quistgaard for Dansk. This is made of Palisander or Rosewood (same family of wood) that was part of Quistgaard’s special “Rare Wood Collection” for Dansk.  Gorgeous wood grain on this box. A functional and highly decorative piece of Danish modern design. The lid can be inserted either to have the handle up, or down to have a flat top. Bearing Quistgaard’s initials and Dansk Designs Denmark impressed marks on the bottom, as shown. We have seen a few others of this design, but most with far less quality of wood selection. This one is a beauty.
