Description:  Here is a hard to find limited production table center piece designed by Carlo Scarpa for Cleto Munari in Italy.  Signed twice; once in his signature “C. Scarpa” on the base that is visable, and a second time under the top rim “C Scarpa per Cleto Munari Silver plate” and “Made in Italy.” This centerpiece was only produced in a limited edition that was made in both sterling silver and silver-plate.  The edition size for the sterling silver was only 99 and we are unsure about the edition size for the silver-plate, but it could not have been many since we have only seen a few ever come to market, and for high prices. This work is listed on the Cleto Munari website.      

Condition: Very good with some light scratching, polishing marks, and spots of over-polishing on the underside of the top.
