Item: Culinar Collini Serving Spoon and Fork

Manufactured by: Collini

Country of origin: Austria

Materials: Blackened Stainless Steel

Dimensions: 12 ½” x 4”

References: Kuzmany, Marion, Auböck 1924 - 1993 Architect: Design for Modern Living, Verlang Anton Pustet (2009).

Condition: Excellent and appears unused.  There are a few almost imperceptible spots on the bottom probably from sliding around in a utensil drawer.

Description: A very difficult to find item from the flatware set designed by Auböck for Collini and manufactured in 1979.  Marked on the back “Collini-Austria Design Carl Auböck” and bearing Carl Auböck’s signature raised in the metal.  This is a heavy and very well made object.  We have only seen a couple of examples from this flatware set ever come to market.  An example of this serving utensil is in the collection of the Carnegie Museum of Art in Pittsburgh, PA.
