Description: This a solid brass and heavy bottle opener in the shape of a Victorian era ladies boot. It is marked with the correct impressed Auböck signature. Although not an uncommon model in polished brass, we have only seen a few of these in this patinated brass with polished accents. The post-war patination was used to hide blemishes in the lower quality brass used after the war from melted down munitions casings.
