Description: Here is a pair of Bill Curry’s well known, but very hard to find Model J-S Cube Sculpture bookends. Each are quite heavy weighing in at 4 ½ pounds apiece. These were made with in polished steel and based on the Curry catalogs some were produced with enamel painted colors such as white and black finishes. Curry also designed a giant version of this at 8” square and weighing in at a whopping 36 pounds. This pair is in very good condition with some light tarnish and rubbing to the polished finish and they each retain the original labels as shown. Although Curry died in 1971 his wife kept the firm open for a few years and these were introduced in the first catalog after his death in 1972. These are a highly sought after design.
