Description: Here is a well-known design by Auböck for an ice bucket with ice tongs. These can be hard to find in this bronze finish, condition and retaining all their parts. The cane rattan is in amazing condition for its age and displays beautifully. The bronze plating has toned with age and handling, but the photos tend to make it appear as if this was a nickel plated version that has toned dark. The bronze plating is much darker in person and the toning is less noticeable. These came in both a bronze and nickel plated versions with the bronze plated versions seemingly harder to find. This example is unsigned as some are, but we guarantee it is an authentic vintage Auböck object.
