This series was designed and introduced in 1967 initially with 18 different elements and is still in production today. This iconic modernist design can be found in almost every conceivable modern design or Danish modern design book, and many major museum collections, including the Museum of Modern Art, the Philadelphia Museum of Art , the Cooper-Hewitt Museum of the Smithsonian Institution, and the Brooklyn Museum. After the initial production there were additional items added to the collection.
